Nassau County's Opening of the Beaches Isle of 8K Beach Run

The countdown is on! Nassau County is turning 200 (est. 1824), on December 29, 2024, for those marking your calendars. To commemorate our Bicentennial, the Nassau County Board of County Commissioners is hosting events and activities all year long to celebrate our history, while also working with the community to help sculpt our future through the Nassau Vision 2050 exercise.
This race not only celebrates the Bicentennial anniversary of Nassau County, it also kicks off the opening of the Amelia Island beaches, and after finishing the race, coincides with the Wild Amelia Nature Festival at Main Beach Park.
