There is nothing like making family memories on a local farm! During fall, three farms open for corn mazes! Many have activities, pumpkins, rides, animals, a playground, and concessions. Don't forget to pose for a family photo on a hay bale surrounded by pumpkins!
Conner's A-Maze-Ing Acres is north of Jacksonville and opens on September 29 to the public on Saturdays only. It features a hayride where you can feed cows on the way to the corn maze. They have a beautiful long barn (old chicken coop) for shade and eating yummy bar-b-q with plenty of farm style activities like a corn bin for kids, life sized games, and a farm market. The playground is my kids' favorite with a big mound of dirt with a slide and huge see saws!
