Magnetic Picture Word Cards for Kids
(This is not a sponsored post)
Picture word cards printed using Social Print Studio
A black marker
Adhesive magnetic sheeting (found at your local craft store)
Head to Social Print Studio. You can upload pictures straight from your Instagram account, have them printed in all shapes and sizes and have them shipped to your house. Use the mini prints which look similar to old Polaroid photographs and leave white space at the bottom for writing the object names. The mini prints are the perfect size for mini hands. You get 48 prints for $15 plus shipping.
Once you receive your prints, write the names of the objects and people on the bottom of the picture using a marker. You could also take pictures of certain colored objects or objects that begin with similar sounds to create color and letter/sound cards as well.
Cut squares from the magnetic adhesive sheets and stick them on the back of the pictures.
Place the pictures on the refrigerator.
Your child will be surprised and start naming the objects and pulling them off the fridge to play. You can switch them out every so often and then eventually make new cards as they get older. Share photos of your child with their prints on instagram by tagging #Fun4FirstCoastKidsCrafts! What are some fun crafts you've been working on lately?
For birthdays, use Social Print Studio to display first year monthly pictures. Use the squares which are 24 for $12 plus shipping.Pick up a frame from Hobby Lobby to display and you can use the frame all year for more photos or other parties!
