KIPP is a national network of free, open-enrollment public charter schools with a 20-year track record of success in preparing students with the academic and character skills needed for success in college and in life. There are 162 KIPP schools across 20 states and the District of Columbia serving 58,000 students.
KIPP currently has three schools in Jacksonville: KIPP VOICE Elementary School, KIPP Jacksonville Elementary School, and KIPP Impact Middle School. All schools share KIPP’s core values – the highest of academic expectations for every student; more time invested in core academics and the arts through extended school days and Saturday sessions; and a relentless focus on results. The ultimate goal of KIPP Jacksonville Schools is for all of our students to make it to and through college.
KIPP Impact Middle School is the highest performing middle school in the entire North and Westside of Jacksonville. Our mission is to prepare our students with the knowledge, skills, habits and character to be successful in college and in life. KIPP Impact is a free public school and has an open-enrollment policy to any resident of Jacksonville. Free bus transportation is provided across the North and Westside.
