ABOUT CCJA

Originally established in 1987 as Sharing Tree Preschool, our preschool is now fully integrated with Christ’s Church Academy.  We believe that children are a gift from the Lord; they possess a fire that is fueled by curiosity, imagination and wonder. When this fire is paired with the focus and knowledge of a well-equipped teacher, beautiful things begin to happen. At CCA Preschool, academic, social, and motor skills are addressed in a play-based, teacher-directed, Bible-based curriculum for our little Eagles.

•         All students go to Music once a week at CCA. Students also perform in Chapel for their parents twice a year.

•         All students attend Chapel which incorporates Bible stories, music, and movement.

•         PreK 4-year-olds participate in Physical Education in the gym with a CCA PE coach.

•         Peek Sheet: Each week, teachers send home a Peek Sheet providing an overview of what will be happening in class the next week.

•         Each classroom uses Class DoJo, allowing our teachers and families to connect, communicate and share learning experiences.

•         As students develop into independent learners, there may be a need for academic support and enrichment. We are proud to have our own Learning Specialist at CCJA. She is a degreed, certified teacher and works in tandem with classroom teachers in VPK to providing academic support and enrichment inside the classrooms, particularly in the areas of Language Arts and Math.

Christ’s Church Junior Academy is accredited with the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).

Hours and Tuition for the 24-25 School Year

9:00am-1:00pm for 2’s through 4’s

August (8/12) through May

Registration will begin January 8th for current students and their siblings.  We will open applications to the public on January 15.
