Stroller Strength is a class designed for moms who want to get a great workout while spending quality time with our kid(s). Led by fitness professional, Mary Lauren Eubank, the class is challenging for the beginning exerciser as well as for the fit mom! Come get stronger, faster, leaner, and more toned all while making new friends and having fun! Bring a water bottle and towel. If you own dumbbells and a yoga mat, bring those too. We meet on Mondays and Wednesdays at South Beach Park and Tuesdays and Fridays at Ed Austin PAL Park.
Get ready to go Above & Beyond with THE Jax Stroller Strength Challenge! For the next six weeks, you will be challenged to accomplish a personal, fitness and nutrition goal. All participants will complete an initial, midway and final fitness testing but don’t worry about the “tests!” Your team will provide encouragement and accountability, helping you see that you CAN lose weight, get stronger, eat healthier and accomplish anything you set out to do! Throughout the six week weeks, you will have the opportunity to attend special events like Stand Up Paddleboard Yoga, a cooking demostration with a nutrition professor from UNF, participate in a Choose Your Distance run and much more. You will learn new things, push yourself to a higher level of fitness but most of all you will have FUN doing it and sharing that joy with your favorite sidekicks..your kids. Let’s do this!
