She helped me develop a plan to labor calmly and peacefully at home, she encouraged me to listen to my inner voice and helped me work through my anxiety throughout the pregnancy and many many days of prodromal labor. I very much wanted to try for an unmedicated birth and I actually had one. The night I gave birth, I did a few guided meditations, used my birthing ball, and did some hydrotherapy at home. I was completely at peace following the guidance Sara tailored to my needs. I alternated between being quiet and calm and excitedly welcoming the contractions bringing my baby closer to me. Sara had indicated that she thought my labor would go fast and once my water broke, I followed her very prudent advice and immediately went to the hospital. Less than an hour later I had my beautiful daughter in my arms and I felt strong and powerful. For that, I really credit Sara's wisdom and compassion.
I’m very grateful that found her. She takes a strong evidence based approach to child birth and pain management. I felt very comfortable with her during my delivery, and felt lucky to have her as my advocate.
She's deeply grounded in what kind of impact she wants to make in the world. I'm so blessed to have worked with her in holistic health partnerships for over 5 years.
We did this towards the end of my pregnancy and Sara graciously added us to her clientele and prepared us with everything we needed in the short time. Sara has so much knowledge about pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. She is up-to-date on the latest research and will share her knowledgeable guidance with you based on facts. She is very supportive about the birth experience you want, and will stay unbiassed and neutral as she asks clarifying questions throughout her relationship with you, to make sure you get your ideal experience. She is very encouraging and she shares so many resources to make the process easier and to get her clients as educated as possible for the process. She is very intentional with the time spent with her clients and she genuinely cares about about you as shown by her check-ins throughout the pregnancy. My husband was willingly present for all of the meetings with Sara, and Sara incorporated him into the process as well, which made it extra special. Our family loved working with her!
