Saturday Summer Rec Soccer League

Who: Boys & Girls ages 5-8 Years old.  We are requesting that all 5 year old participants have previous soccer experience, either with F.A.S.T. or another soccer program. 

When: The 6 week session will be held on the following dates. Saturdays June 11th, 25th July 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th.  Practice/Game times will be on Saturday Mornings at 10:00am

Practice: Each day will start out with a 10 -15 minute warmup/practice followed by a game.

Game Format: 

•Number of Players: 4 children per team on the field at a time.

•Team Size: Max 8 Children per team. Substitutions every 5 minutes. Equal playing time for all children *subject to absences* 

•Ball size: 3

•Game Length: 40 minute running clock.

Games will have no referees. Coaches will ref the game for obvious infractions/violations. The design of this league is based on children developing skill at their own pace and above everything else, HAVING FUN! Negative sportsmanship will not be tolerated by children or adults!

Attire:  Each child will be provided a jersey. Shin guards are required.  No cleats on the artificial turf! 

Where: 5 tool training @ Above Athletics 14797 Philips HWY Jacksonville FL 32256. All classes will be under a covered artificial turf field. No rainouts and no sun!
