Waterproof Jacksonville is expanding its mission to reduce accidental drowning in Northeast Florida. This countywide campaign provides swim lessons to youth whose families are facing financial difficulty. This year's campaign will offer lessons to more than 1,500 area youth - more than double last year's lessons. Thanks to a generous donation from Attorney Wayne Hogan of the Terrell Hogan Law Firm, all students attending Woodland Acres Elementary School this summer will receive free swim lessons, along with 150 active military families. The Police Athletic League is funding lessons for 200 of its summer participants and Safe KIDS Northeast Florida is funding scholarships for lessons through JaxParks. Please join us and help Waterproof Jacksonville!
