Art Garage, The Summer Camps

ALL AGE LEVELS in ALL CAMP THEMES (except Paint Possibilities 5th-10th) will complete projects that cover all kinds of mediums, including acrylic and watercolor, chalk and oil pastels, pen and ink, mixed media, and at least 1 3D medium (clay, paper mâché, etc.).

A Note on The Art Garage’s Curriculum: We believe that ART is for EVERYONE, not just the elusive few who were “born with it”.

Sometimes young artists don’t know what they like until they try it - and sometimes learning a technique in a medium they are not familiar with will help improve their skill in a medium that they ARE familiar with. We encourage TRYING and EXPERIMENTING with new techniques in our camps and classes because we have created a safe place to make mistakes and try new things. Our language is ENCOURAGEMENT and there is absolutely NO comparison allowed in our studio - only fun and a comfortable environment to CREATE!

Along that same thought, we do not separate our classes or camps by skill/experience, only by age/grade, because we believe that everyone can have fun creating art as long as they have an interest in it. Art is for everyone!

Camp Drawesome
rising Kindergarten - 5th Grade

Messy mediums and crazy awesome fun, our “Camp Drawesome” themed camp lets your child’s creativity flow uninhibited in a safe and encouraging environment as they complete all new projects and discover incredible art techniques!

Doodles and Dreamers
rising Kindergarten - 5th Grade

In our “Doodles and Dreamers” themed camp, your artist will take their doodling and dreaming to the next level by engaging with tons of messy mediums, creating projects based in real artistic techniques!

Artists at Work
5th grade - 10th grade

Our “Artists at Work” themed camp puts your young artist to work creating all new projects, and learning artistic techniques as they go! They will create alongside their peers, exploring all kinds of artistic styles and making fun memories!

Paint Possibilities
5th grade - 10th grade

Join with like-minded, inspired artists in our “Paint Possibilities” themed painting camp, where your young artist will paint all new projects, discovering artistic techniques and engaging in lots of pigmented fun! *This camp theme is only offered in the afternoon (2-5pm).
