November is Kids FREE Month in Jacksonville

November means Kids FREE at many of Jacksonville's top attractions, thanks to Visit Jacksonville and many of our own Fun 4 First Coast Kids advertisers (marked with *). November is the perfect time of year to take the kids out for some FUN exploring! The best part is Kids under 12 get in FREE all month long. Now's the time to get out for some quality family time while the kids learn something new at these kid-approved attractions. 

We've rounded up all the details here so help spread the word by sharing with your friends and family!

Jacksonville Zoo & Gardens*

Escape to the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens, recently name one of the best Zoos in the country! It's a true family adventure, and with recent updates to Land of the Tiger and African Forest, the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens is a family favorite all year long! The Zoo has something for everyone with more than 2,000 rare and exotic animals and 1,000 varieties of plants.

Up to 5 children (ages 3-12) get FREE general admission with a paying adult.


Catty Shack Ranch Wildlife Sanctuary

An experience your kids will never forget, a nightly feeding and tour at Catty Shack is sure to wow them! Catty Shack is open for daytime and night feeding tours on specific days. Be sure to check their calendar to see their list of tours. The Catty Shack Ranch Wildlife Sanctuary is a non-profit organization with a mission to provide a safe, loving, forever home for endangered big cats, and to educate the public about their plight in the wild and captivity. Enjoy a leisurely, guided tour of the sanctuary and see all the residents (Siberian tigers, lions, cougars, spotted and black leopards, bobcats, coatimundis and arctic foxes)!

Museum of Science & History (MOSH)*

Take a trip down memory lane and share toy experiences at the latest exhibit to open at the Museum of Science & History (MOSH). Toytopia features the world's largest Etch A Sketch, a life-size doll house and retro arcade area. In addition, MOSH features interactive, award-winning exhibitions such as Currents of Time, Atlantic Tails and JEA PowerPlay. The Museum's most popular exhibits include the health science exhibition, Health in Motion and the Florida Naturalist's Center, which houses animals native to Northeast Florida. MOSH is open Thursdays through Sundays each week.

Sweet Pete's*

You don't want to miss the sweetest spot in Jacksonville, Sweet Pete's! Swing by their Downtown location where you'll find 20,000 square feet of fun! Inside you will find a candy factory with an interactive gallery, two large retail areas, a rooftop patio, and dessert bar! The have seasonal candy classes for a delicious way to get in the holiday spirit!

Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens*

The Cummer Museum holds one of the finest art collections in the Southeast, with nearly 5,000 objects in its Permanent Collection. The Museum offers world-class art spanning from 2100 B.C. through the 21st century, features diverse special exhibits, and is home to the Wark Collection of Early Meissen Porcelain. Don't miss the Museum's 2.5 acres of historic gardens that are unique examples of early 20th century garden design, featuring reflecting pools, fountains, arbors, antique ornaments, and sculptures. The majestic Cummer Oak has a canopy of more than 150 feet and is one of the oldest trees in Jacksonville.

Main Event*

Main Event offers a unique, "EatBowlPlay" experience featuring state-of-the-art bowling, multi-level laser tag, thrilling high ropes adventure courses, captivating game rooms featuring the latest video and amusement, stylish billiards, energetic bars and high-quality restaurants. In addition to providing free WiFi, guests rave about the superior value of activities including happy hour specials, combination deals, and the birthday, private and corporate parties/events.

Up to 5 children (12 and under) will receive a 30-minute arcade timecard with the purchase of at $20 FUN card. Valid Monday-Friday only. 



Kayak Amelia

Kayak Amelia is the official concessionaire in Talbot Islands State Parks, offering guided kayak, SUP and Segway ecotours as well as kayak, stand up paddleboard (SUP) & bike rentals, SUP instruction, SUP yoga and a summer kid's camp.

For any adult ticket purchase you will receive a ticket for a child ages 3 - 14 for free. Good for guided tours and rentals.



Ritz Theatre and Museum

The Ritz Theatre and Museum is the premiere African American arts facility in the historical LaVilla area of downtown Jacksonville.The beautiful facility houses a 400-seat theatre and a museum and gallery which feature a permanent collection and traveling exhibits from around the country.

For any adult ticket purchase, receive a FREE ticket for a child (ages 7-17). Also, earn a free wall banner or poster to anyone who follows both social media pages, signs up for the newsletter, and stops by in November. Must have proof of 3 digital accomplishments to be gifted the free poster.



King Pins Bowling

King Pins Bowling Center, owned and operated by The Potter's House International Ministries, was created with you in mind. We are located inside the Kingdom Plaza at Normandy Mall, with Twenty USBC regulated lanes, full-service snack-bar, pro shop, arcade games, and pool tables. Durkeeville Historical Society

The goal of the Durkeeville Historical Society is to help educate about the historic African American community.

Go Tuk'n

Go Tuk'n is the one and only electric Tuk Tuk tour operator, transportation services, mobile bar and bar tending services. Themed tours include photo race scavenger hunts, historic tours and art tours. Go Tuk'n is excited to participate in the Visit Jax "Kids Free November" program. 

One child free (ages 0 to 12) per paying adult on the following tours: Downtown Jacksonville City Tour (3-hour tour), Certified Public Art Tour (3-hour tour), The Certified Riverside Avondale Preservation (RAP) tour (3-hour tour). Must use promo code: FREEKIDSNOVEMBER when booking. You can pre-book these tours to reserve your times for these tours but tours must be completed in November 2020.
