Summer Camp FAQ

What does a typical camp day consist of?

• Our campers start the morning off with an active warm up to get up and moving! We then divide campers into groups by age and rotate to several different events throughout the day including: trampoline, bars, beam, vault, floor, outdoor play time, and craft. We also do big group activities together like various games and obstacles on the floor.

What are your camp hours?

• Camp hours are from 9AM-3PM. We also offer wrap around care from 8AM-5PM

What is wrap around care?

• Wrap around care is a convenient option we offer for parents needing to drop off early or pick up later outside of our normal camp hours.

What if I'm late for pick up?

• We have a 15 minute grace period. After this, an additional fee of $10/hr will be added

What ages can attend?

• Campers 3 years and up may register for camp. All campers must be potty trained to attend.

Are there half day options?

• We do not offer half day options. However, we realize that 9AM-3PM can be a long day for our younger campers, so we have created the chill zone where our campers can wind down after lunch.

What should my camper bring?

• Your camper should bring snacks and a lunch that are completely free of tree nuts. We do not allow food items that contain tree nuts within our facility. Lunches will be checked upon arrival. Your camper should also bring a personal water bottle.

Can my camper be in a group with their friends?

• We divide campers into groups each day based on age. If your camper would like to be in the same group as another camper, please notify one of our camp coaches, so that we can make sure all buddies are together!

What is the drop-off process?

• Our facility is located at the end of a horseshoe shaped parking lot. Parents should enter from the far end of the horseshoe (back end of infinity) and loop around and enter the car line for drop off. A camp coach will greet you at your vehicle to get your name & another camp coach will escort your camper into our facility.

What is the pick-up process?

• Parents will follow the same procedure for drop off by entering the horseshoe lot and looping around to join the car line. All adults picking up campers must show a valid photo ID at the time of pick up. A camp coach will verify that the adult is listed on your camper's authorized pick up list before escorting the camper out of the facility and into the vehicle. Campers will not be permitted to exit the facility with any adult that is not listed on authorized pick up.
  

Who should I speak to about my child's allergies, health concerns, important info regarding my camper?

• Our camp directors are our designated camp supervisors that are available to assist you with any questions or concerns. Our camp directors wear teal shirts with "Camp Director" labeled on the back

What is Beaches Gymnastics' Disciplinary Policy?

• We enforce a 3-strike policy. Campers will receive a verbal warning from the camp coach for the misbehavior. Then, a second verbal warning accompanied by a safety minute with the Camp Director. At the third instance, the camper is then given a written strike that is sent home with the camper. Campers that 3 written strikes will not be permitted to continue to attend camp

What are your camp rules?

• 1. Have Fun--We want every camper to have the best day! Our coaches are enthusiastic, silly, and always positive. If there is ever anything we can do to make your camper's experience better, please let us know.

• 2. No bullying--We have a zero tolerance policy when it comes to bullying. This means keeping our hands to ourselves and only speaking kindly to our fellow campers and coaches.

• 3. Listen to your coaches-We strive to have our students listen on the very first try so we can maintain a safe and fun environment

Can I change the week I registered for to a different week?

• Yes! If there is another week you would like to transfer to instead of the one you are currently registered for, we must first check if there is availability to do so.

Can my camper bring an ipad or other electronics?

• Yes. However, your camper will only be permitted on their electronics during wrap care and during chill zone.

What if my camper has class or practice during or after camp?

• Please notify our Camp Director if your athlete has class or practice during or after camp hours and our camp coaches will make sure they get to their event on time.
