Roots Summer Camp Dates: June 3 - August 5

We are so excited about our SUMMER 2024! 
Each week has a special theme - campers will participate in games, snacks, and crafts related to the theme! There will be plenty of fun, games, and music each week!

Roots Academy students ages 2,3, and 4 who are full time students will enjoy our summer camp weekly themes with special crafts and activities related to each week's theme.

Roots Academy offers summer camp for children age 4 - each week they will join in the weekly camp themes and activities - they will be with our preschool students and not with the campers age group 5-11.

All The Info

  • Days and Times: Monday - Friday, 9:00am-3:30pm

  • Location: 2050 St Johns Parkway at Roots Church and Academy

  • Full Day Camp Tuition: $265 per camper

  • Camp Tuition Includes: Camp t-shirt, games, popsicles on hot days, crafts to go with weekly theme, special guests related to weekly theme, water balloons, and more

  • Discounts: 10% off sibling discount

  • Fees: 3% fee to use debit and credit card

  • Extended Care: Before and after care hours all weeks 7:00am-6:00pm $315 per week

  • Ages: Girls and Boys ages 5-11 (groups by age. You may request to be with a friend). 4-year-olds $265 per week will be enrolled at Roots Preschool. Counselor in training program: Ages 12-14 $50 weekly tuition.

  • What to Bring: Lunch and 2 snacks (pack each day except on Friday - Pizza day lunch provided), water bottle, tennis shoes work best, girls hair up for cheer week, bug spray if preferred, sunscreen as needed – on Wednesday come to camp in a bathing suit and bring towel ages 4-11.

  • Water Wednesday: On Wednesday of camp we will be having water games and activities onsite outside and a giant waterslide. Wear a bathing suit to camp on Wednesday and bring a towel.

  • Pizza Party Friday: Pepperoni or cheese pizza included each Friday of camp.

  • Staff: Roots Academy staff, trained college, high school and middle school students, (cheerleaders and dancers for Cheer week) - (CPR trained)

  • Indoor/Outdoor: We are indoors and outdoors, so wear sunscreen and bug spray daily if preferred.

  • Allergies: We watch any campers with allergies closely and accommodate peanut-free zone

  • Roots Camp Refund Policy: camp withdrawal requests 2 weeks (14 days prior or more) prior to a camp session’s start date will receive a refund for 50% of the camps tuition fee for that week or session or may opt to have 100% of the amount credited towards another Roots summer camp session or program. No monetary refunds will be issued 13 days or less prior to a camp’s start date.

  • July 8 - Disney (includes Lego Robotics day)

  • July 15 - Around the World (includes Mexican Fiesta)

  • July 29 Penguins and Polar Bears (includes making snow)

  • August 5 - NO CAMP WEEK

*Summer camp begins June 3. We have a fun safe engaging summer planned for all ages. Tons of activities, crafts, educational experiences.

Frequently Asked Questions

    • Camp withdrawal requests 2 weeks (14 days or more) prior to a camp session's start date will receive a refund for 50% of the camp's registration fee or may opt to have 100% of the amount credited toward another Roots sponsored camp.

    • No monetary refunds will be issued 13 days or less prior to a camp's start date.

    • Camp fee deposit(s) will only be returned if a camp is canceled.

    • Please email info@rootschurch.tv with all refund and program withdrawal requests. In your email please include the camper's full name, the program name to be withdrawn from, the reason for the withdrawal.

  • Your first 2 weeks of Camp tuition is due May 1. Once that is paid - each other week will be due the Friday before the next week of camp for the rest of the summer. Campers only pay for camp when they attend. Campers may attend 1 week of camp, 2 weeks of camp, or all weeks of camp.
