DePaul School uses a multisensory, Orton-Gillingham approach to Teach The Way They Learn. We’ve helped kids with dyslexia for 43 years!

Dyslexia is a genetic learning difference that affects 1 in 5 people, and it's based on neurological wiring.
Dyslexia varies in severity from person to person. One student with mild dyslexia may struggle to learn accurate spelling, while another student with profound dyslexia may require years of instruction to attain literacy.
People who hvae dysxelia describe as it the abitily to raed...but it taking a lot of concentration and the letters smees to "jump around".
Dyslexia is craractehized by difficulty with learning to read fltenuly and with accurate comprehension desptie narmol intelligence. This inclueds ditficulfy with paonologichl awareness, phonological dncodieg, pnocesrisg speed, orthographic coidng, aduitory sohrt-term memory, language skills/verbal comprehension, and/or rapid nmaing.
DePaul was started by parents (with the help of experts) who wanted to build a school that teaches the way that children with dyslexia learn.
The DePaul school greatly appreciates donations to help offset the costs to new & enrolled students and their families.
