The Enchanted Cottage was specifically designed to act as the community well. We want our space to be the place where new parents go to find their community, gain knowledge and wisdom about parenting, and for their children to be able to gain experience socializing and connecting with peers.

What To Expect On Your First Visit
Location
Conveniently located in South Jax Beach, The Enchanted Cottage is nestled between the Whole Foods plaza and Bonefish Grill. Our central location makes us easy to find and access for your next family adventure.
Shoes Off, Socks On
When you arrive at The Cottage, we kindly ask that you remove your shoes and leave them in our designated shoe room. While kids are welcome to play barefoot, adults must wear socks beyond the play gate. Don’t worry if you forget—socks are available for purchase at the front desk.
Check-In and Waiver
Our friendly team will greet you at the front desk upon arrival. Before your little one begins exploring, we’ll ask you to fill out a quick waiver to ensure everyone’s safety during playtime. Get a head start and fill out the waiver online!
Our Rhythm
Every play shift is curated for two main things. Our main goal is to give parents a place where they can rest and recharge while their children are able to socialize, enhance their imagination, and move.
Open Play
Your child will immerse themselves in a world of creativity and imagination with:
-Themed Rooms: A dress-up room, kitchen area, and building room.
-The Meadow: Featuring a treehouse, climbing structures, and space for exploration.
-Tiny Tots Room/Nursing Area: A dedicated space for infants and nursing mothers.
For parents, we provide comfortable seating with clear views of all play areas, so you can relax while keeping an eye on your child.
Circle Time
Midway through the play session (10:30 AM for mornings, 3:30 PM for afternoons), we gather for Circle Time. Rooted in Waldorf philosophy, this interactive session includes singing and movement. Repetition of songs supports brain development and adds to the fun!
Story Time
At the end of each shift (11:50 AM for mornings, 4:50 PM for afternoons), we host Story Time. Our team tells original tales using handmade felt toys, creating an enchanting storytelling experience. Each story is told for two weeks, helping children learn and engage with language development.
Beyond the playroom, The Enchanted Cottage becomes a village of support and growth for families like yours. Engage in enriching workshops and parenting classes while your little ones embrace their playtime adventures. Together, we'll build a strong community where we learn, laugh, and cherish every moment of parenthood.
