MOSH offers interactive, inquiry-based learning for your student in the areas of science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics!
Programs have been developed for elementary- and middle-school aged students. Separate workshops will run simultaneously for ages 5-8 and 9-14, covering the same topics through age-specific curriculum. Parents may still register children that fall outside of these age ranges, but acknowledge that MOSH workshops are designed to meet standards for these age groups. Each workshop consists of two 45-minute interactive sessions, with 30 minutes of free time to explore the Museum before and after the program.
Third or fourth Wednesday of every month during the school year (August-May)
Morning Sessions — 9 a.m. (program runs from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.)
Afternoon Sessions — 12:30 p.m. (program runs from 1 to 3 p.m.) Backyard History (Ages 5-8) Why do we consider Jacksonville to be on the First Coast? Who has lived in Jacksonville in the past? Answer these questions and more as we take a look into the fascinating history we have experienced right here in Florida! Blast to the Past (Age 9-14) Investigate the history of technology through the ages, learn to tell the difference between a primary and a secondary source, and discover how events in the past have shaped our world today!
In order to secure spots for a particular program, payment must be made before the day of the program. Once a program is sold out, no further tickets will be available for purchase online or in person. Late registration (the day of) can only be done in person, and tickets cannot be guaranteed.
