MOSH offers interactive, inquiry-based learning for your student in the areas of science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics! Programs have been developed for elementary- and middle-school aged students. Separate workshops will run simultaneously for ages 5-8 and 9-14, covering the same topics through an age-specific curriculum. Parents may still register children that fall outside of these age ranges, but acknowledge that MOSH workshops are designed to meet standards for these age groups. Each workshop consists of two 45-minute interactive sessions, with 30 minutes of free time to explore the Museum before and after the program.
Morning Sessions — 9 a.m. (program runs from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.)
Afternoon Sessions — 12:30 p.m. (program runs from 1 to 3 p.m.)
May 21: Grossology (Age 5-8)- Do NOT try this at home! We’ll dissect owl pellets, become experts in scat identification and examine all things gross! Microbiology (Age 9-14)- Ever wondered if there’s more to you (and the world) than meets the eye? We’ll take a close look at bacteria, examine our own cells, and meet experts in the field of microbiology!
In order to secure spots for a particular program, payment must be made before the day of the program. Once a program is sold out, no further tickets will be available for purchase online or in person. Late registration (the day of) can only be done in person, and tickets cannot be guaranteed.
