Virtual Jacksonville Science Symposium

The FIRST Jacksonville Science Symposium is scheduled for February 21st - 26th. The Jacksonville Science Symposium is an evening lectureship appropriate for the whole family. Each evening features a different expert and a different field of study. Speakers engage the audience with their warm personalities and multimedia presentations for 50 minutes and then accept 10-15 minutes of questions from the audience.

Sunday evening at 6 pm local Mathematician J. Arnold brings a little magic to Mathematics as he tells us all about Fibonacci Numbers and Sequence Patterns in Nature.

Monday evening at 6:30 pm the DiPietro brothers engage in a “Wild Kratts”-Style, fast-paced dialogue about Dinosaurs: The Land That Once Was.

Tuesday evening at 6:30 pm Dr. Stephen Grable founder of the Complementary Care Center brings his warm, conversational style to Covid-19 Vaccines: Helpful or Harmful? Information so YOU can Decide.

Friday evening at 6:30 pm Dr. H.E. “Buddy” Payne, Harvard-educated science educator and now current President of Florida College will amaze us with Design at the Microscopic Level: The Incredible Cell.
