Riding the Rails: Pablo Beach Train Day

Presented by the Beaches Museum & History Park, Riding the Rails: Pablo Beach Train Day will celebrate all things trains on Saturday, September 9, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Activities will include model train layouts, demonstrations of antique toys, a train robber suspect hunt, and a display of era automobiles. Tours of the Museum’s 1911 steam locomotive, the 1900 Florida East Coast Foreman’s House, and the Mayport Depot will also be available during this event.

Operation Lifesaver will demonstrate train safety and offer goodies for the kids. Boy Scout Troop #37 will also provide food including hot dogs, hamburgers, sides, and accompanying condiments.

Kicking off Train Day will be a Friday night trivia night. It will be accompanied by classic films.

The event is free and open to the public. A suggested donation of $5 is recommended.
