Budding Gardeners: Stellar Strawberries

  • When: Saturday, November 11, 2023, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
  • Location: Garden Club of Jacksonville: 1005 Riverside Ave, Jacksonville, FL 32204
  • Cost: $5/Non-Members; Free/Members

Fresh-picked strawberries are delicious and fun to grow. Children learn how to grow their own strawberries and plant one to take home. When strawberries are planted in the late fall, you get strawberries in late winter! Taste several ways to enjoy strawberries and make a strawberry-themed craft.

Budding Gardeners is aimed at children in grades 1-6 to discover gardening, conservation, and wildlife through interactive programs, crafts, and outdoor projects. Children and their parents or caregivers collaborate during a morning of healthy and fun activities.

Each registration includes one parent and child.

The program is free for members and only $5 for nonmembers, but space is limited. Registration is required, so we know how many supplies to provide. Please call 904-355-4224 if your child cannot attend.
