Spanish Lessons at Little Peeps Farmer for a Day

  • When: Wednesday, September 28, 2022, 12:30 pm -  3:00 pm
  • Location: Little Peeps Farmer for a Day: Beach Blvd & St John's Bluff area, Jacksonville, Florida 32246
  • Cost: See website for pricing

We will be offering Spanish Lessons on Wednesday afternoons, 12:30-3pm, following our morning FARMschool program. Enrollment in our morning program is not necessary to enroll in this afternoon program. Your child may enroll in both and stay 9-3, or register for just the afternoon. We will be able to offer two different class levels; Level 1 beginner, and a Level 2 class. Classes will begin in September (exact schedule to be announced soon).
Children will spend either the first half or the second half of class in Spanish class and the other part of class on the farm. Spanish classes will be held in the koi pond yard and will be led by a wonderful farm family mom.
Payment for the year's course can be made all at once ($900) or in 8 monthly installments due the 1st of the month, beginning September 1, 2021. A deposit of $100 is required to hold your space in the program, which will be applied to May's tuition. Because of the cost of the program being spread evenly over 9 months, families who sign-up after September 1, 2019, may have a slightly different monthly payment due for their first month.
The program cost for the year will be:
$900/yr for the first child
$720/yr for each sibling
This cost can be broken down into monthly payments:
$100/month for the first child
$ 80/month for each sibling
5 make-up days will be included in this cost to be used during this school year. These days may be used by attending another farm day or drop off program offered by Little Peeps (again this option may or may not be available, depending on the COVID situation at the time). Extended hours are billed out at the end of each month at the rate of $10/hour.
We will be scheduling a Family Day or Orientation Day for families before we begin classes. This will be a great opportunity for us to all get to know each other. You can ask any questions you may have, meet all the teachers, and the kids can really settle in and start feeling comfortable while their families/parents are here with them.
