 ight Town is the tale of a simple town that grows, thrives, and yet somehow
 , remains the same. From a young couple celebrating their long-awaited wedd
 ing day in the midst of a national tragedy in 2001, to a cantankerous groce
 ry store owner waging his own fight against change as a controversial war l
 ooms in 2003, to a son returning home beaten and battered but all the wiser
  after the financial crisis of 2007, and more. Through it all, relationship
 s are forged, old and new struggle to coexist, and a wise handywoman takes 
 it all in while she fixes what is broken. Despite everything going on in th
 e world, life goes on in this small town. And goodness, hope, and compassio
