“There are shortcuts to happiness and dancing is one of them!” - Vicki Baum. Do you love to dance? Have you been inspired by performances such as The Nutcracker, or even a musical movie? For those considering a career in dance, or just enjoy the art form, the technical requirements are higher than ever before. The Florida Ballet Training Center is a program for every dance student. We are proud to include the AMERICAN BALLET THEATER National Training Curriculum, a breakthrough eight level program that combines high quality artistic training with the basis of dancer health and child development. The ABT National Training Curriculum consists of a comprehensive set of age appropriate, outcome based guidelines to provide the highest quality ballet training to dance students of all ages and skill levels.

 Young Dancer’s Program – Curriculum begins with the Young Dancers program for 3-7 year olds. It is structured to inspire the love of music and movement while instilling a foundation for further training in classical ballet.

 The Training Center Program – Open to students ages 8 and up, The Florida Ballet Training Center offers a structured program of ballet for afterschool students. Audition required.

 Boy’s Program – Boy’s and Men’s classes of varying levels instruct young men in technique and movement specific to the male dancer. For the older, more advanced male dancer, partnering classes are included in the curriculum. Inquire about our scholarship programs for male dancers today!

 ***New Program beginning this fall – Homeschool program – For the students that are homeschooled, the Florida ballet will now offer daytime classes for ages 5 and up. No audition required.

 Conservatory Program – Dance technique requires consistent and dedicated training, as such, many ballet schools around the United States have added a full time program. The Conservatory Program allows students to take an extra technique class five days a week and then continue their academic studies through a homeschooling program. To date, The Florida Ballet has a 100% acceptance rate in university dance departments.

 Open Classes – The Florida Ballet offers Open Classes during the week for intermediate and advanced students. This allows non-Florida Ballet Training Center students the opportunity to take an extra classical ballet technique class under The Florida Ballet curriculum.
