National Alliance on Mental Illness, The (NAMI)-Jacksonville

NAMI Family Support Group is a trained facilitator led support group for family members, caregivers and loved ones of individuals living with mental illness. Gain insight from the challenges and successes of others facing similar circumstances.

NAMI’s Support Groups are unique because they follow a structured model, ensuring everyone has an opportunity learn informaiton, tips, and support from facilitators and other participants.

Our support groups that focus on allowing participants to share their experiences and learn from each other in a safe environment. We don’t take attendance. We maintain CONFIDENTIALITY.

Family Support Group is free and open to any family member with a loved one living with mental illness. Student or any non-participant observation is not permitted.



Support Groups are currently meeting online and in person.

Mondays on Zoom - 6:15-7:45 pm

One Time Registration Required. Once registered, the recurring meeting link and password is used for all meetings in 2021.

2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month in person - 6:00-7:30 pm

Drop ins are welcome at our in-person support groups.

For the safety of our facilitators and all participants, masks will be required during meetings. Support Groups will be limited to 15 to ensure safe social distancing.
