Feeding Northeast Florida
Feeding Northeast Florida’s mission is to banish hunger from all 17 counties in Northeast Florida. Our goal is to rescue all the food that would otherwise be destroyed and get it to the tables of the families in our community who need it – Fast, Fresh and Free.
Working with major grocer partners, and with the help of volunteers and monetary donations, we are making headway in our core strategy: implementing a logistics model that gets healthier foods and perishable dairy, meat and produce out to the 176 partner food pantries in our community more quickly – and to help fund the necessary infrastructure improvements that select food pantries need to process and store perishable foods.
