Above Basketball Academy

Above Basketball Academy is directed by one of the most accomplished high school basketball coaches in the state of Florida, Jim Martin. Coach Martin is a four-time recipient of the Coach of the Year Award. His Providence High School Basketball Team won State Championships in 2010, 2013, and 2015 and was recently nationally recognized by Max Preps as a Top 25 Team over the past five years. Since 2010, six of his players have won the local “Player of the Year” award.

The academy will offer high school player development and control scrimmages. Player Development is our #1 priority . Getting players ready for tryouts and their season. This program is designed by Coach Jim Martin and run by High School Coaches at this facility and throughout Florida. Coaches at Above Basketball Academy will be Coach Tyler Martin at PV High School, Coach Josh Balen at Nease High School and Coach Will Mayer at Creekside High School. The academy also offers individual lessons with Academy’s top trainers in ball handling and shooting. Our trainers will personalize your child’s training to meet their basketball needs. These 1 hour lessons will improve their basketball abilities in a one on one setting.
