The University of North Florida’s NEFSTEM invites young learners to Ozzie’s 2026 Playful Computing Summer Camp, an engaging, hands-on experience for students entering 1st through 6th grade. Campers will explore coding, robotics, and game design using Scratch, LEGO® Education, and fun “unplugged” computing activities that make learning active, creative, and accessible.
Designed with movement and imagination in mind, the camp blends interactive instruction in UNF’s STEP Lab with collaborative, off-screen activities that encourage problem-solving, teamwork, and creative thinking. This balanced approach keeps students engaged throughout the day while giving them opportunities to move, reset, and learn in different ways. With a 6:1 camper-to-instructor ratio, licensed computer science teachers provide personalized attention in a supportive, playful environment where beginners and experienced coders alike can thrive.
