Does your child love to paint, sculpt, draw, print, and more? Cultivate their creative abilities in our summer camp. Young artists will observe and explore artwork in the galleries and gardens, experiment with different art media in the studio, and create and show off their artwork in an open house each week.
Available sessions:
June 2-6 for Grades 4-6 Mystery in the Museum
Uncover secrets hidden throughout the Museum. Campers will explore how artists use mystery and symbolism to tell stories. After solving the mysteries, campers will use different materials to create their own art filled with hidden meanings.
June 9-13 for Grades 4-6 Myths and Legends
Unleash your inner mythmaker. Explore ancient tales and legends through art, inspired by the Museum's collection. Using various art materials, campers will design their own fantastical creatures, make masks, and create versions of famous legends.
