Rudder Club of Jacksonville, The Dick Allsopp Summer Sailing Camp

The Dick Allsopp Summer Camp are for ages from 8-15 years old, takes place each summer for five weeks. Each class runs Monday- Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. The young sailors learn sailing and social skills as well as sportsmanship and competitive sailing. All camp instructors are US Sailing certified sailing instructors or certified sailing assistants. Junior instructors and youth camp counselors are provided formal training in the performance of their duties. The camp teaches in the US Sailing format and strives to provide top quality instruction, since the first experiences of a new sailor form memories which last a lifetime.
