Jacksonville Classical Academy East JXC

Jacksonville Classical Academy East (JXC) is a tuition-free, classical charter school located near downtown Jacksonville. We are currently enrolling incoming preschool-9th grade students for the 2023-2024 school year and adding a grade every year until we have preschool-12th grade. Our motto is "Learn the True. Do the Good. Love the Beautiful."

Classical education is traditional American education. JXC East equips students with a classical liberal arts and sciences education that cultivates virtuous living, civic responsibility, and a deep appreciation of the history of Western Civilization. We offer a content-rich curriculum driven by joy and wonder where students study math, literacy, history, and science daily. Students also participate in physical education, art, and music classes weekly. We have a strong emphasis on phonics instruction, writing and reading great books. We also incorporate instruction on moral character and civic virtue into everything we do. JXC East offers a variety of athletic, after school and extracurricular activities including chess club, Bible club, junior cheerleading club and more!
