Asa Philip Randolph Academies of Technology High School is an academic career preparatory magnet program that is dedicated to preparing all students through a rigorous curriculum to graduate from high school qualified to complete college level work without remediation or to enter the workplace with the skills necessary to succeed.
Founded in 1977, Asa Philip Randolph Academies of Technology (APR) operated originally as the Northside Skills Center. It has since become one of the foremost career and college preparatory magnet schools in Duval County. APR offers a wide range of classes that are needed for graduation. APR also offers Advanced Placement courses, has dual enrollment, and career academies from which students can choose. These academies include Health, Informational Technology, Cosmetology, Public Safety and Fire & Rescue.
