Youth Crisis Center is a nationally accredited agency that serves 1,200 children, teens, young adults, and families each year who are coping with stressors from life traumas that cause a disruption within the family unit and/or emotional well-being. Since 1974, YCC has been committed to keeping youth and families together, out of the delinquency and dependency system, and off the streets. YCC provides short term residential crisis care to children and teens ages 10-17, outpatient mental health counseling to children ages 3 and up including their parents, life skills groups to children 6-11 years of age and their families, and transitional living services to homeless young adults ages 18-21. YCC serves children and families residing in Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau, and St. Johns Counties. Most services are free of charge.
