Beaches Veteran's Memorial Park

Veteran's Memorial Park is an active park that consists of a small playground area, swings, benches, and a basketball court. Recently the City, in partnership with the Beaches Veterans Organizations, has added an 80 foot flagpole for 24 hour display of the National Flag and a 1400 square foot stage for use in ceremonies and entertainment events. Future plans for the park include construction of a Memorial Garden, that will center around a memorial to all U.S. Military Chaplains killed in action in America’s Wars. Also included in the Memorial Garden will be smaller monuments dedicated to the various branches of the Armed Services.
