Atlantic Beach is a more laid back beach with homes and no high rises beyond 1 Ocean (the old Sea Turtle Inn). The inviting, pedestrian friendly Beaches Town Center area offers many boutiques, fitness centers, restaurants and two oceanfront hotels in close proximity - a destination appealing for both tourists and locals! The beaches have elevated dunes with sea oats and blooming drought tolerant wildflowers, and less crowds.
