Bill Burbridge Has been drawing caricatures professionally for the past 27 years. In 1998, Bill achieved a bachelor's degree in Film Animation from the University Of Central Florida. After graduating, Bill worked as a caricaturist for Sea World of Florida. He quickly advanced to Walt Disney World of Orlando where he operated caricature stands and designed cartoons for Disney. After three years of Disney apprenticeship, he moved back to his home town of Jacksonville, Florida. There, he began to freelance as a caricaturist. Since then, he has drawn at parties ,bar mitzvahs, picnics, weddings, grand openings, special events, and malls of Jacksonville and beyond. At present, Bill has worked all over the continental United states and is always open to new opportunities in his field. Some of the clients Bill Burbridge has worked for are: AT&T, Blue Cross Blue Shield, P.R.I, Bailey Publishing and Communications, Walt Disney World, Sea World, Petco, Grant Thornton, and Day's Inn. The artist never draws any insulting cartoons. The point is to deliver a humorous whimsical sketch. Often, the guest walks away feeling flattered by Burbridge's interpretation. All exaggerations used are for an accurate portrayal and tasteful purposes. Ultimately, the objective is to make sure every one is having fun at the given event. Bill's medium of choice is ink and airbrush. He draws on high quality 11x14inch card stock. He places each caricature in a protective 13x16 inch plastic covering. Typically, Bill brings a small foldout easel. For lighting, he uses two illumination devices. At optimum, Bill can draw 15 to 20 black and white faces per hour, 8 to 10 color faces per hour, and 5 to 7 color bodies per hour. All Bill Burbridge requires from the client is two chairs, an electrical outlet and a room full of smiling faces. Let me showcase my digital skills at your event or convention!
