At The Monarch Academy for Neurodivergent Youth, we seek to foster growth in the areas of Social/Emotional, Physiological , Psychological Wellbeing, and Academic or Trade Development. A diverse blend of teachers, mentors, and coaches posses decades of training and experience as educators, clinicians, psychologists, coaches, occupational/physical/speech/art therapists, nutritionists, and mental/physical athletes. Together, our staff of mostly ND Identifying/Affirming educators contribute to an individualized curriculum designed for each child. Based in sensory processing understanding, the curriculum is inspired by the dependable exploration of intuitive gifts seen in Waldorf schools, the benefits of developing authentic and trusting student-teacher relationships focal to Montessori classrooms, and the intuitive nature of collaboration and self-acquired learning from Reggio-Emilia based learning.
