Summer is a great opportunity to explore your passion for dance and enhance technique. Under the direction of Artistic Director Roberto Forleo, The Florida Ballet offers programs designed for beginning, intermediate, and pre-professional levels.
Storybook Journeys Program
June 22 – 26, Storybook Journeys
(ages 5-8)
Storybook Journeys is a creative exploration of dance, music, and art for children ages 5-8. Young dancers embark on a multi-sensory tour of designated storybook themes while delving into their own creativity through the integration of dance, visual art, choreography, and music.
Introduction to ballet and creative movement allows students to build movement vocabulary, coordination, and strength. Daily crafts take students beyond the studio to create costume pieces, dance props, and other accessories that inspire artistic expression and imagination. Program meets M-F, 9am – 12 noon.
