The St. Johns County Public Library System (SJCPLS) is excited to announce its “Adventure Begins at Your Library” 2024 Summer Reading Program beginning June 2 through July 27. Designed to promote educational and family-friendly summer fun, SJCPLS invites the community to visit the library and participate in this year’s reading adventure.
Reading Logs:
The annual summer reading program is designed to encourage families to read together during the summer to combat the “summer slide.” The program offers participants incentives to keep reading skills sharp in preparation for the next school year.
Visit any branch library or the Bookmobile to pick up your summer reading logs. You can also click the image to download your log and print from home.
Reading Log Instructions:
1. Use the reading log to check off each day you read during our Summer Reading Program. Every five days read earns a free prize (Note: Attendance at a Summer Reading Program event counts as one day read).
2. Bring your reading log to the library each week and show it to a library staff member to collect your prize.
