Kids’ Strength & Conditioning classes are 45 minutes long. Our classes are uniquely tailored for kids aged 8 to 12 years old. The sole emphasis of our kids’ program is to make fitness fun, while coaching them on proper movement. This class will introduce kids to some of the foundational movements of CrossFit in a safe and fun environment. They will learn functional movements like squats, presses, pushing, pulling, and other basic gymnastic skills. Additionally, kids will be introduced to important topics such as nutrition, goal setting, and other life skills. Each class will end with a game that reinforces the importance of teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy competition. All classes and components will focus primarily on technique. Light weights will be used only after the junior athlete has demonstrated mastery.
