Kona Skate Park

Established in 1977, Kona is the longest surviving private skatepark in the world. Kona Skate Park is a skateboarder's paradise. Known for legend Tony Hawk, get your vert on in different types of skateboarding areas from the vert pipe to the pool. BMX bikes also allowed certain days.

SKATEBOARD LESSONS AT KONA SKATEPARK:
Available for boys, girls and Adults. Includes Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced Sessions.

THE PROGRAM AND HOW IT WORKS:
Skaters are given the opportunity to prove their skills. After mastering the objectives at each level, skaters are invited to take an achievement test.
After passing the Beginners Achievement Test a skater is officially a “GROM.”
After passing the Intermediate Achievement Test a skater is officially a “RIPPER.”
After passing the Advanced Achievement Test a skater is officially a “SHREDDER.”
After becoming a “SHREDDER” skaters are invited to join our Skate Mentoring Program.
