Bike & Baseball Social: Historic Springfield Visits the Jumbo Shrimp

Join us Monday, July 3 for a BIKE AND BASEBALL SOCIAL! Enjoy an evening bike ride to the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp Game and watch representatives from the East & West Side Historic Springfield Throwback Baseball teams throw out the first pitch!
Meet at the SPAR Building (1321 N Main Street) at 4:45 pm, and be ready to depart at 5:00 pm. We will ride together to 121 Financial Ballpark, touring murals on the Eastside along the way (approximately two miles, one-way). The Jumbo Shrimp game begins at 6:05 pm. Stay as long as you like and return on your schedule.
TICKETS ARE REQUIRED for the Jumbo Shrimp game. Continue the fun with your Springfield neighbors by purchasing your tickets through SPAR, to sit in the SPAR block (Field Reserve, Section 114). ***PURCHASE TICKETS BY JUNE 1***–only 60 tickets are available, and we expect them to sell out, so don’t delay! Even if you don’t want to participate in the bike ride, come join us at the game! And don’t forget to preorder your Historic Springfield Baseball t-shirt to show your neighborhood spirit at the game. Everyone is welcome to join us for this event. Riders are encouraged to have appropriate safety gear, and there is a bike repair station located at the SPAR Building for your use.
