Jacksonville Humane Society Deck the Howls

The Jacksonville Humane Society is joining dozens of animal shelters nationwide to celebrate the holiday season by “decking the howls” on December 15 from 5-7pm! Families are invited to spend a festive howl-iday evening with our pets featuring:

~the opportunity to get cozy and read holiday stories to the dogs and cats at JHS (bring your favorite holiday book or borrow one of ours!)
~decorating dog cookies
~designing holiday cards for the pets
~crafting animal ornaments
~“gift wrapping” special toys for the cats
~competing in animal trivia
~participating in a one-of-a-kind raffle

Hot cocoa and sweet human treats will be available courtesy of our friends at Winn-Dixie.

This is a family event. Parents/guardians must attend with children, and children of all ages are welcome.

Don’t forget to wear your favorite festive pajamas!
