Attention Homeschoolers! Are you looking to fill your child’s Related Arts needs? We offer two time sessions, EVERY TUESDAY & WEDNESDAY, so the art projects are age appropriate.
At Creative Me Art Studio, we provide educationally based art lessons during the day for you and your homeschooled friends to come join the fun! We’ve designed a curriculum that can address the specific needs of your children. We believe learning Art in a group setting can teach children to see the world through an artist’s eye, while using their imagination to create their very own works of art. Students will be introduced to many different artists, critique artwork, and build a large vocabulary. Students will learn the styles of many artists, and will be given an opportunity to make their own choices when creating pieces of artwork. Students will also collaborate with other student artists in group art projects.
Our H.S.P. classes start off with a slide show presentation all about a specific artist so the children can gain some background knowledge on the inspiration behind the art project. Then we will begin an art project that involves so many different forms of media, such as watercolor paint, oil pastels, chalk, crayons, markers, colored pencils, sculpture clay, etc. Then the teacher will reiterate what we learned and how it relates to our finished piece of artwork. Students will take their project home on the same day it is made. Cost is $15 per a child.
