MOSH Presents: Caro's Comet The Celestial Cinderella

Journey into astronomy with a family friendly play in the Bryan-Gooding Planetarium. Caro’s Comet showcases the whimsical story of Caroline Herschel, famously known as the “Celestial Cinderella.” Caro faces physical limitations and disapproval at every turn, but with her magic telescope’s encouragement, Caro learns she is unlimited.

In life, Herschel overcame the odds to become the first woman in England to be recognized as a paid scientist, discovered several comets and other celestial objects, and was awarded the Gold Medal of Science in 1846.
