The Rotary Club of Greater Nassau is looking forward to hosting our 2nd annual 5K fundraiser. This year the proceeds will support education and families in Nassau County. Our funding priorities for this fundraiser include:
Nassau County Schools – Families in Transition assisting homeless students in Nassau County with basic needs. In 2024, the Rotary provided over $1500 in assistance.
Winter Break Book Program – Supplying 2nd graders on the west side of Nassau County the opportunity for continues learning during winter break. The Rotary provided 230 books in 2024
Trade School Scholarships – We are working towards providing high school students in Nassau County an opportunity to enter trade school. Last year, over $5000 was earmarked for non-four-year training programs for students in Nassau County
