Calling all young artists! The Cathedral Arts Project (CAP) is hosting a free visual arts workshop with Jacksonville’s own Scotie Cousin, renowned for his vibrant and whimsical public art scattered throughout the city. This family-friendly event offers kids ages 6–8 and 9–10 the chance to explore Scotie’s vibrant approach to art in small group sessions.
Participants will learn fun visual arts techniques as they collaborate on a unique masterpiece! Each student will also receive a special color-your-own print of one of Cousin’s iconic works to take home.
Workshop Sessions:
Ages 6–8: 10:00–10:30 a.m. or 10:45–11:15 a.m.
Ages 9–10: 11:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m. or 12:15–12:45 p.m.

Families are also invited to experience additional art activities and docent-led tours of Cousin’s work and the museum’s collections from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
