Jacksonville Humane Society's Middle School Vet Camp 2026

Future veterinarians and vet techs in grades 6-8 are invited to join us for our Middle School Vet Camp and find out exactly what it takes to become a vet!
Campers will have the unique opportunity to tour and observe in the JHS hospital, study canine and feline body language and behavior, learn hands-on veterinary skills, participate in a Q&A with JHS medical staff, gain an understanding of common medical issues in pets, and SO much more!

Time: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (extended care available from 7:45 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. for an additional fee)
