Stage Aurora Theatrical Company, Inc. presents the 100 Youth Voices in “The Wiz” (TYA) Saturday, September 26, 2026 at 2PM and 5PM at Come with us as we Ease on Down the Road in this Tony-award winning iconic musical.
Winner of 7 Tony awards, this beloved Broadway musical sets Dorothy's adventures in the Land of Oz to music in a dazzling, lively mixture of rock, gospel, and soul! The Wiz first appeared on Broadway in 1974 and was written by William F. Brown with Music and Lyrics by Charles Smalls. “The Wiz.” (TYA) will be presented and performed by a cast of nearly 40 young, talented singers and dancers.
THE WIZ TYA will be directed by Dr. Darryl Reuben Hall with music direction by Lisa Lockhart and Tina Wilson. Stage Aurora’s General Manager is Dolores Hall, Ed.D. and assisted by Board Member Jann Clark. Production assistants include Julia Campbell Timmons, Lamia Cummings, Michelle Crosby Grant, and Paul Daniels.
