This event is a fundraiser for Lone Warrior Foundation.
The Lone Warrior Foundation is a Jacksonville, Florida-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting single-parent families who are battling cancer. Founded by two-time cancer survivor Robert A. Chumbook Jr., the foundation was created from his personal experience of facing cancer while raising a child as a single parent. Its mission is to ensure that no single parent has to fight cancer alone by providing financial assistance, wellness education, emotional support, and a strong community network.
The foundation helps families with treatment-related expenses, everyday living costs, childcare needs, and access to resources focused on nutrition, exercise, and overall well-being. Through volunteers, mentorship, and community partnerships, it seeks to provide both practical and emotional support during a family's cancer journey.
