Art Garage, The Summer Camps

ALL AGE LEVELS in ALL CAMP THEMES (except Paint Possibilities 5th-10th) will complete projects that cover all kinds of mediums, including acrylic and watercolor, chalk and oil pastels, pen and ink, mixed media, and at least 1 3D medium (clay, paper mâché, etc.). A Note on The Art Garage’s Curriculum: We believe that ART is for EVERYONE, not just the elusive few who were “born with it”.

Sometimes young artists don’t know what they like until they try it - and sometimes learning a technique in a medium they are not familiar with will help improve their skill in a medium that they ARE familiar with. We encourage TRYING and EXPERIMENTING with new techniques in our camps and classes because we have created a safe place to make mistakes and try new things. Our language is ENCOURAGEMENT and there is absolutely NO comparison allowed in our studio - only fun and a comfortable environment to CREATE!

Along tat same thought, we do not separate our classes or camps by skill/experience, only by age/grade, because we believe that everyone can have fun creating art as long as they have an interest in it. Art is for everyone!
